Business Fellowship


The U.S. - Central Asia Education Foundation (CAEF) provides 4-year scholarships to citizens of Turkmenistan for undergraduate studies in business administration or economics at the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics, and Strategic Research (KIMEP) in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

What Does an Enterprise Fellowship Award Provide?

  • Tuition at KIMEP
  • Transportation expenses
  • Living expenses (housing and food)
  • Financial support to attend pre-academic programs in preparation for undergraduate business degree programs.
Who is Eligible?
Applicants Must Be:
  • A citizen of Turkmenistan
  • Able to demonstrate academic excellence and financial need
  • Eligible to study business administration or economics at KIMEP
    • To study at KIMEP, citizens of Turkmenistan must have completed 11 years of study.  This can include (i) students who completed 9 or 10 years at school plus an additional year of education at a vocational school (uchilishe) or on FLEX; or (ii) students who completed 11 years at the Russian Pushkin school; or (iii) students who completed 12 years at the Turkish-Turkmen Lyceum or the International school in Ashgabat
