Job Description:
The C5 + ONE (Opening Networks through English) Logistics Assistant will work in a team with the Program Director, Senior Program Officer, and Program Officer on the project that supports English for special purposes (economy) for young professionals throughout Central Asia and will report to the Program Officer. The Logistics Assistant will provide programmatic support to implement the project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Program Officer to carry out daily task-based and administrative functions related to a wide range of programmatic needs;
• Create and disseminate program and marketing material;
•Assist in conducting informational meetings for program participants, partners, funders, and other stakeholders;
• Lead logistical preparations and schedules for events including orientations, National Workshops, trainings, or visits by delegations;
• Arrange travel and work with relevant organizations for visa support;
• Work with participants and partners to obtain documents needed for participation;
• Provide on-program support for participants, in coordination with other American Councils staff;
• Travel within the country to carry out job responsibilities;
• Engage in project design and consultation, monitoring and evaluation, and donor reporting;
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field of study;
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in program administration or position with similar duties;
• Outstanding time management, organization and planning skills;
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and multicultural interpersonal skills;
• Fluent in English and one or more local languages;
• Proactive, independent, and flexible in task management and program implementation
• Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings, when needed;
• Experience in budget management;
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software suite and common social media platforms;
• Citizen of country Turkmenistan.
