Position Description
The part-time, paid Prep4Success Alumni Mentorship Intern will work in collaboration with the program team to support alumni-mentee mentorship initiatives. This position reports directly to the Prep4Success Program Manager and requires close coordination with the entire Prep4Success team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting with matching and pairing mentors and mentees based on their academic needs and professional interests
• Assisting with conducting mentorship training to the alumni
• Participating in the project management workshop
• Regularly tracking the mentorship progress of mentor and mentee pairs
• Assisting in the collection and processing of feedback
• Compiling program statistics
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Prep4Success Program Manager and the Country Director

QUALIFICATIONS

• Successful completion of one of the USG programs;
• Experience training and mentoring volunteers, developing, organizing and implementing projects;
• Strong MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Internet, administrative and other general computer skills;
• Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• Strong English language skills;
• Turkmen and/or Russian language skills;
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to a team effort;
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude;
• Turkmen citizenship;
• No immediate family members applying for/enrolled in an American Councils administered program at time of employment or during tenure of employment.
