PREP4SUCCESS STUDENT PROGRAM ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS IN DASHOGUZ, LEBAP AND MARY REGIONS

American Councils in Turkmenistan is accepting applications for the newly redesigned Prep4Success Student Program in Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary regions. Program is open for young Turkmenistan citizens from 14 to 18 years old. Curriculum includes TOEFL test preparation, Academic Reading and Writing, advanced Math, and professional development activities. Eight Months Program will run on Sundays and will take place at Dashoguz, Mary and Turkmenabat American Corners.

Eligibility/Requirements for Potential Candidates:

• Citizen of Turkmenistan
• 14 to 18 years old;
• Good academic standing at school;
• Intermediate/Advanced level of English;
• Able to commit to the eight months program.

Application Package: All documents MUST be submitted in electronic format.

• Completed Prep4Success Student Program Application;
• Academic transcripts (for two years);
• One signed academic recommendation letter in English;
• Resume;
• Copy of birth certificate or domestic passport;

The EducationUSA Competitive College Club (CCC) Program Accepts Applications

CCC is a program for active and motivated high school students in the 9-12th grades with intention to apply for US colleges. Participation is Free of Charge; however, we require 100% attendance, 100% motivation, 100% initiative.

The program is highly selective.

What is included:

1. Research Your Options: Full guide for the application process (college search, filling out Common App).
2. Finance Your Studies: Understanding types of financial aid, eligibility, and requirements, featuring a CSS Profile workshop for club members and parents.
3. Complete Your Application: A course on supplemental essay writing, strategies for the Common App activities list, and expert writing tips.
4. Individual Consultations.

Program Format: In-person and Virtual (via zoom)

Program Duration: 10 – 12 months

Selection Process:
· Complete the application form;
· pass English and Math tests;
· attend an interview.

FLEX  2025-2026 Testing Schedule


The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and United States Embassy in Turkmenistan announce the 2024-2025 testing schedule for the U.S. Government-funded FLEX Exchange Program for High School Students for the 2025-2026 academic year. The program provides competitively selected secondary school students with a scholarship to spend a year living in the U.S. with a volunteer host family, attending a U.S. high school to foster understanding between the people of the United States and the people of Turkmenistan. The FLEX scholarship covers travel, housing and living expenses. Students with disabilities are strongly encouraged to participate in the competition.

FLEX testing is open to all high school students who meet the following requirements:
Born between March 15, 2007 and May 31, 2009; students in the final year of school who are required to complete military service are ineligible;
• Are currently enrolled in a secondary school, having an academic standing of good or better;
• Have previously studied English and demonstrate English language ability at the time of registration;
• Have not lived in the United States for more than three months in the last five years;
• Are eligible to receive a U.S. visa;
• Are citizens of Turkmenistan.

In order to participate in the competition please bring a proof of eligibility (original birth certificate or passport), one recent photograph (3×4 cm), and a black pen. All students participating in the testing must wear school uniforms.

* If for some reasons, high school students from the regions miss the Round 1 test in their home region, they will have an opportunity to take FLEX Round 1 test in Ashgabat. Students can only participate in one Round 1 Test per year.
