What is GRE?
The GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for most graduate schools in the United States, which provides additional measure of applicant’s preparation for graduate school.

Total testing time is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes. The examination consists of the following sections:

What is GRE Subject Test?
Subjects Tests measure achievement in specific subject areas and assume undergraduate majors or extensive background in those disciplines. There are seven subjects tests offered:

GRE Subject Tests are usually scored on the scale 200-990 in 10-point increment.

How to register for the GRE?
Go to http://www.ets.org/gre

1. You get to the page where you can actually Register for the Test
2. You come to the page where you have to Create Your Personal Account

4. After the Account Creation start the Registration for the upcoming test
5. At the final page of the Registration pay with your credit card (American Express®, Discover®, JCB®, MasterCard® or VISA®)

How much does it cost? 

GRE® revised General Test — worldwide costs $195.

Late registration fee (paper-delivered test online registration only) costs $25

Standby testing (paper-delivered test only) costs $50

How to send your results of GRE? 

Before or on test day, you can list up to 4 universities / colleges (FREE OF CHARGE) as score recipients by entering their codes on the back of the admission ticket you bring with you to the test center. And with the ScoreSelect® option, you can decide which test scores to send to the institutions you designate, so you can send the scores you feel show your personal best, giving you more confidence on test day.

After test day, you can order Additional Score Reports for a fee of US$27 per recipient. At that time, you can choose to send scores from your Most Recent, All or Any test administration from your reportable history.
