American Councils for International Education is seeking an innovative and well-organized Project Coordinator to lead the implementation of the Business Skills Camp for Teenagers across the American Center in Ashgabat and American Corners in Mary, Turkmenabat, and Dashoguz.

This short-term, intensive program (November 24 – December 10) is designed to empower youth aged 16–19 with essential entrepreneurial knowledge, hands-on experience, and an innovative mindset. The camp provides participants with practical tools to plan, research, start, and manage a business effectively.

The Project Coordinator will report directly to the American Corners Grant Manager and work closely with the American Spaces Experiential Learning Assistant. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys teamwork, creative problem-solving, and managing impactful educational projects.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with the American Spaces team to identify, interview, and select qualified trainers from each participating city.
• Organize and lead a virtual Training of Trainers (TOT) to prepare facilitators for the program.

• Design and coordinate the camp curriculum together with trainers, focusing on topics such as:
o Entrepreneurship and innovation using U.S. business models;
o Product prototype development using traditional and A.I. platforms;
o Business communication, including public speaking, pitching, and elevator speeches;
o Marketing strategies and branding;
o Teamwork and collaboration;
o Business finance and budgeting.

• Incorporate interactive and experiential learning methods into all training activities.
• Help organize field trips to local entrepreneurs to provide participants with real-world insights into business operations and innovation.
• Assist with inviting guest speakers, including business specialists, consultants, and entrepreneurs, to share their expertise and inspire attendees.
• Develop and administer pre- and post-training surveys to measure participant progress.
• Manage the project timeline to ensure successful completion within one month.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive project reports and highlights at the conclusion of the camp.
• Maintain close collaboration with trainers, the American Councils team, and the American Spaces team throughout all project phases.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business or entrepreneurship.
• Proven experience in project coordination and event organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Turkmen/Russian.
• Experience in conducting trainings or workshops preferred.
• Strong leadership, initiative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent time management and accountability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
