EDUCATION ADVISING CENTER: US COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITY SUPPORT

Education Advising Center (EAC) is an open and free information source of educational opportunities in USA and standardized tests to enter American Universities and Colleges: TOEFL, LSAT, SAT and GRE.

EducationUSA Advisers provide prospective Turkmen students with information on Associate, Bachelor, Master’s and Doctoral degrees as well as help them preparing necessary documents for applying to US higher institutions.

EAC offers individual consultations and group advising sessions; English language reference library; workshops, presentations and a variety of activities targeting successful application and standardized test submission; as well as information on scholarships for US Universities and Colleges.

EAC Library offers free public-access internet for academic purposes and contains brochures and catalogues about US Higher Education Institutions (American Colleges and Universities) including information about application process, general admission requirements, programs and course description. Additionally, EAC library maintains materials that help in scholarship search, standardized test preparation, personal statement, resume, college writing and strategies for academic excellence.

FLEX Program for High School Students

FLEX program is a U.S. government-sponsored program for secondary school students. The program provides full scholarship funding for students to travel to the United States, attend a U.S. high school for full academic year, and live with a host family.

Participation in the program is open to all high school students, that meet the eligibility requirements, which include age limitation, good academic standing, possess knowledge of English, Turkmen citizenship, and U.S. visa eligibility requirements.

Final selection takes place in Washington, DC by a committee of experts in international education exchange programs. Students with physical disabilities can also participate in the program.
