PREP4SUCCESS TEACHER PROGRAM ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

American Councils for International Education in Turkmenistan is now accepting applications for the Prep4Success Teacher Program, a professional development opportunity for English Language educators working at private educational centers across the country. This program is open to citizens of Turkmenistan who are actively engaged in English language instruction and are committed to enhancing their teaching practices.

The program will be delivered in person at American Corners offices in the regions of Dashoguz, Lebap, Mary, and Ashgabat, while educators residing in the Balkan region will be able participate online. In person sessions will take place on Sundays once a month. Engagement in online activities is also a key feature of the program, helping prepare attendees to make the most of the in-person sessions.

Over the course of six months, participants will engage in a thoughtfully designed curriculum on key thematic areas, including best practices for teaching test preparation, academic reading and writing, and public speaking. Participants will be also introduced to skills such as using data analysis to assess students’ performance, giving clear instructions, using interactive and communicative activities in the classroom, and building an environment that encourages student-centered learning.
